Imagine having someone tell you that you are being moved to a new home. Then imagine being told that, because you do not own any luggage, you need to put any possessions that you want to bring in a trash bag.
For many foster children, this is a reality.
As part of their “Sweet Cases” initiative, JetBlue has recently dropped off duffel bags for our foster care program in an effort to ensure that these children will no longer need to move their belongings in trash bags. Each of the donated bags has been decorated by a JetBlue crew member and contains stuffed animals, coloring materials, and other personal items that can provide relief to a child during a very difficult time.
