Buffalo, NY –The Stanley G. Falk School (Falk), a program of Child and Family Services, has been awarded a $100,000 grant from The Children’s Guild Foundation, along with a $50,000 contribution from the New Era Cap Foundation, to support critical renovations at its Mullen Elementary Campus in Tonawanda. Together, the $150,000 investment will increase the school’s capacity to serve students with special learning, emotional and behavioral needs across Western New York.
The combined funding will support the conversion of an underutilized locker room into dedicated occupational and physical therapy spaces. These newly designed rooms will provide an environment that better supports individualized treatment and skill-building for younger students in kindergarten through second grade.
With more than half of the students at Falk-Mullen requiring occupational or physical therapy, the upgraded facilities will ensure access to proper equipment, privacy and space to promote sensory integration, motor development and overall ability to participate in learning activities.

Our partnership with the Stanley G. Falk School and New Era Cap Foundation on the renovation of space at the Mullen Elementary Campus exemplifies this achievement,” said Darci Cramer, TCGF board chair.

Falk School serves more than 600 students annually from over 50 school districts across Western New York. Each child receives individualized instruction in small 6:1:1 classrooms, with comprehensive counseling, speech, occupational and physical therapy services built into their educational plans. The school’s mission is to empower students to reach their potential in a nurturing and structured environment designed to meet their needs.
