The children at Child and Family Services Residential Program recently had a spooktacular time at a festive Halloween party, where creativity and fun were on full display. The event was packed with engaging activities that allowed the children to fully embrace the holiday spirit, bringing smiles and energy to the celebration.
Volunteers from Spectrum Reach generously gave to the event, bringing games, candy, pumpkins and more while spending their time with the children to share in the fun. Their friendly and enthusiastic presence helped make the party even more special.
The kids kicked off the celebrations by decorating pumpkins, letting their imaginations run wild. They also had the opportunity to wrap themselves and their friends in toilet paper to turn themselves into mummies, a favorite activity that led to tons of laughter. The fun continued with various games throughout the evening – including BINGO, a contest to guess how many pieces of candy corn filled a jar and a ball toss game to knock down cans decorated as vampires, witches and other monsters.
No Halloween party would be complete without lots of candy, and plenty of it was handed out throughout the evening, ensuring everyone left with a bag full of treats. An inflatable stand in the parking lot added to the sugar rush, offering sweet treats like snow cones, cotton candy and fried Oreos.
The Halloween party was a huge success, leaving the children with wonderful memories. Thank you to Spectrum Reach for all that you did to make this a wonderful party for the kids!
