Stand With Survivors Like Hope

Hope didn’t realize she was in an abusive relationship—until one moment changed everything. When Hope’s daughter came to her and shared that she felt scared at home, Hope knew she needed to make a change. This is when Hope turned to Child and Family Services Haven House for help.
At Haven House, Hope found safety, compassion and unwavering support. With legal advocacy and counseling, she began to heal.
With the help of her advocate, Maddy, Hope was never alone. Maddy was there every step of the way— at the police station, during court proceedings, when her daughter gave her statement, and throughout the healing journey.

Thanks to Haven House, Hope had access to:
- Emergency shelter and a safe space to escape violence
- Legal advocacy and someone to stand by her in court
- Counseling to help her and her daughter begin to heal
Today, Hope is reclaiming her life. Last October, she bravely shared her story at our Shine the Light event during Domestic Violence Awareness Month—using her voice to give strength to others.
