Buffalo – Child and Family Services’ (C+FS) Adopt-a-Family program is back for the 2025 holiday season with Amazon returning as the program’s lead sponsor. Operations will be running Monday, December 8 through Wednesday, December 18, headquartered at 824 ½ Delaware Avenue.
For more than two decades, Adopt-a-Family has connected community donors with families receiving services through programs such as Foster Care and Adoption, Community-Based Counseling, Residential Treatment, the Stanley G. Falk School and Youth Assertive Community Treatment (Youth ACT). The program brings comfort and joy to families during the holidays, while also providing resources that they will be able to utilize throughout the entire year.

The gifts received now don’t just brighten the holidays; they offer stability, relief and encouragement that lasts well beyond the season. This year, more than 350 donors will be matched with 300 families, providing gifts and essentials to over 1,200 individuals across Western New York. The effort is supported by 300 volunteers, who help ensure thousands of items are organized and delivered with care.
