Life is often unpredictable and sometimes your productivity at work is affected by challenges you’re experiencing in your life. Child and Family Services Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is here to support you by helping you navigate interprofessional conflicts. Whether you’re facing a personal or work-related problem, EAP is determined to find a solution and get you back on track professionally.

“Having an EAP is such a critical component of employee mental health,” emphasized Yvonne DuBois, Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer. “It’s how organizations ensure their staff are ready to meet the demands of their work.”

Every workplace and culture are different, and EAP goes the extra mile to understand an employee’s behavioral health. Employees with good behavioral health are more likely to be focused, efficient and productive. In addition, when employees feel mentally and emotionally well, they are more likely to contribute positively to a workplace’s culture.

“The EAP staff are incredibly well trained, and always equity focused, making them an impactful part of our employee care toolkit,” stated Yvonne.

When life hits you all at once, EAP is available 24/7 for support counseling. Other core services include legal, financial, childcare, eldercare and mediation/conflict consultations, nutrition services and referrals to specialized services.

“Their ability to provide in-the-moment support and community connection for our staff has made all the difference in our ability to continue providing challenging and necessary community care,” said Yvonne.

But services don’t stop with you. If you choose to seek help from our EAP, your household members are eligible to receive free services as well. EAP wants to ensure your family is receiving the care they need to successfully achieve work-life balance and be productive in the workplace.
