Congratulations to Tracey Free celebrating 25 years with Child and Family Services.

Tracey’s journey with C+FS began when she joined the residential team as a Child Care Therapy Aide, where she quickly discovered the deep connections that could be built through compassion, patience and care. Over the years, she’s grown into leadership roles as a Team Lead and now as a supervisor.

No matter which role Tracey has been in, the children have always been the heart of her work.

“They are the reason I come back year after year,” she shared.

Tracey vividly remembers what it felt like to start her career at C+FS and the sense of purpose that came with it. Twenty-five years later, that same feeling remains. Through every challenge and triumph, she’s witnessed incredible moments of resilience and growth in the children she supports.

Throughout her career, Tracey has been a positive presence for children navigating some of the most difficult times in their lives. Her professionalism and dedication have helped create a safe space where healing can begin.

“Tracey’s calm presence, empathy and tireless commitment have touched countless lives,” shared Dana Delaney, Director of Residential. “She has been a steady source of support for her colleagues and an advocate for every child in her care.”

As she reflects on her 25 years with C+FS, Tracey’s pride lies in knowing she has made a lasting impact.
