Bills fans have now raised over $12,000 for Child & Family Services!
“We were saddened to hear that Steve Tasker was not selected for consideration into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In our eyes he’s a Hall of Famer,” said Lara McKee, VP of the Bills Mafia Babes.
Always looking to utilize the region’s communal love for the Bills as a driver for philanthropy, the Bills Mafia Babes spearheaded a fundraiser with a tweet on December 30. “There was no better way to show our appreciation than to give back to the community who loves him the most,” Lara added. “We hope that these donations touch many lives. Go Bills!”
“The Buffalo Bills’ fan base and Bills Mafia have been recognized nationally for their spirit, and this is just another incredible example of how far they will go to help out their 716 community!” said Mary Czopp, Chief Communications and Development Officer at C&FS. “Not only is Steve Tasker widely considered to be the best special teams player in NFL history, but he has also been a tremendous representative of WNY for decades.”
Child & Family Services is grateful to the Bills Mafia Babes for continuing to raise money for C&FS in honor of Steve Tasker throughout the month of January!
