Amazon Presents Child and Family Services with $20,000 for Adopt-a-Family

‘Twas the week of Adopt-a-Family, and all throughout the Agency,

Volunteers gathered gifts, for families with urgency.

The donations were handled with excellent care,

For every family deserves something to call theirs.

The holiday magic couldn’t happen without people like you,

And with the generosity from Amazon, the giving can continue.

As the holidays quickly approach, Child and Family Services’ Adopt-a-Family is wrapping up more than just presents! On Wednesday, December 13, 2023, Amazon presented the Agency with a $20,000 check to help families and individuals in the Western New York community.

This year, Amazon served as the lead sponsor of Adopt-a-Family as well as volunteered their time during the program. Staff members from Amazon spent their morning volunteering at 844. Amazon volunteers greeted donors and assisted in collecting, organizing and sorting through donations to ensure every family’s needs were met.
