  1. Do you provide respite services for children?

    No, we do not provide respite services. We are a residential program for children who have significant emotional and behavioral conditions who cannot live with their parents.

  2. Do you take boys or girls?

    Each program varies on the population served. For specific gender and age criteria please contact the Residential Department at 716-884-3802.

  3. I’m going through a tough time. Could my child stay there for a short period of time?

    Each program has specific admission criteria. There are resources that may be able to assist families who are experiencing difficulties. For more information you may contact Crisis Services at 716-834-3131.

  4. Do you provide hostel services?

    No, we are not a hostel. We provide therapeutic services to children who have significant emotional and behavioral conditions who are unable to live with their parents. To locate hostel services in Western New York you can call 716-852-5222.

  5. How would I have my child admitted to your program?

    We accept referrals from a variety of resources. Each program’s oversight agency determines specific admission criteria (Office of Mental Health, Office of Child and Family Services). Please contact the Residential Department at 716-884-3802 for more information. You may also send a referral to residentialreferrals@cfsbny.org.

  6. What is your program model?

    We are a residential program that provides individualized treatment in a therapeutic milieu. We utilize a Collaborative Problem Solving philosophy of care. Services are provided by highly skilled staff in a homelike setting.
