Matrimonial Division of Property Arbitration
This program provides arbitration services for separated and divorced couples who
have been unable to divide their marital property. Most referrals come from judges
or private attorneys. The Center administers this program in Erie, Niagara, Genesee,
Orleans, Wyoming, Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties. Specially trained,
experienced arbitrators hear these cases. Fees for this program are based on a sliding
scale.
Divorce Mediation
Divorce mediation is available for couples interested in reaching parenting and
financial decisions with each other in the form of a memorandum of understanding
that can be incorporated, by an attorney, into a legal separation or divorce order.
Most referrals come from judges, private attorneys or individuals. The Center administers
this program in Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Orleans, Wyoming, Allegany, Cattaraugus
and Chautauqua counties. Specially trained, experienced mediators hear these cases.
Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale.
